Spectral Launches Syntax, LLM Enables Web 3.0 Users to Create Autonomous Agents and Deploy Products on Chain

March 26, 2024 – New York, New York

The syntax takes natural language and converts it to Solidity code, enabling individuals and enterprises to deliver production-grade smart contracts, arbitrage agents, NFTs, rollups, and more. Syntax represents a manifestation of the “agent economy” in Web 3.0.

Today, Spectral Labs launched Syntax, a new LLM that enables people to send agents that automate projects and tasks on-chain, thus manifesting their Web 3.0 product ideas.

While still in beta, Syntax’s vision is to create an open on-chain “agent economy” where developers, individuals and enterprises can, for the first time, choose the agents to whom they would like to delegate their tasks, projects and development of Web 3.0 products.

These designs and products include production-grade smart contracts, arbitrage agents, NFTs, bulk packs, and more.

Scaling Web 3.0 engineering efforts and delivering new products on-chain is limited by the number of Solidity developers, as well as the ability of enterprises to test and deliver smart contract code in a fast and efficient manner without consuming engineering resources.

Spectral set out to solve this problem with its new LLM, Syntax, a development environment designed to manifest Web 3.0 product ideas by converting natural language into Solidity code that can be immediately deployed on-chain.

For professional developers, Syntax can speed up and optimize throughput by writing large libraries and components.

Syntax provides an “agent-based” environment where users tell Syntax what they want to build, and Syntax writes and deploys the code to the chain with a single click.

Spectral defines an on-chain agent as a set of instructions and code that can be deployed on-chain and that has a dedicated wallet for this purpose.

Loosely similar to custom statements in ChatGPT, syntax agents also have their own identity and can autonomously determine ways to interact with the deployment infrastructure.

With Syntax, users can compile, debug, and deploy AI-generated Solidity code.

The syntax provides users and the industry with the ability to quickly test, deliver, and scale new products, as well as determine the usability and functional significance of generated code, while providing control to quickly edit code snippets.

Initially, Spectral network agents will be selected and built by Spectral but soon any user will be able to create their own agent and monetize it in future Syntax releases.

Sishir Varghese, founder of Spectral, said:

“At Spectral, we are pioneering a future where autonomous agents redefine what is possible on the chain.

“With Spectral Syntax, we enable these agents to operate independently, making it easier for everyone to bring their blockchain ideas to life.”

What really sets Syntax apart is the ability to deploy code directly to on-chain, performing deployments through Foundry by writing instructions that Foundry can process, including compiling code, deploying to on-chain, and signing transactions.

Syntax is pioneering the accessible on-chain agent economy, encouraging users to choose agents tailored to their specific Web 3.0 tasks.

Users can either interact with a basic agent or select one of specialized agents, each of which is specialized in different tasks and operations like “code fork assistant”, perfect for those who want to fork and adapt the codebase.

Additionally, users can evaluate an agent’s knowledge and trustworthiness by viewing its category list and popularity reflected in user engagement.

Josh Rosenthal, partner at Polychain, said:

“Spectral’s Syntax is at the forefront of combining artificial intelligence with Web 3.0, pioneering the on-chain agent economy and making it easier for users to create their own blockchain products.”

The syntax generates accurate and gas-optimized Solidity code for a variety of prompts ranging from low to medium complexity, and outperforms baseline models on Spectral’s Solidity evaluation dataset.

As Spectral’s modeling efforts evolve, the company expects Syntax to deliver optimized code for increasingly complex problems.

These Solidity models are specifically designed to help developers write optimized, modern, well-tested, and secure code.

About Spectral

Spectral, the agent economics pioneer behind Syntax, is at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence with blockchain to democratize development in Web 3.0.

Our mission is to simplify the creation and deployment of DApps (decentralized applications) via autonomous agents on the chain.

Syntax, Spectral’s flagship product, translates natural language into Solidity code, enabling novices and experts alike to build seamlessly on the blockchain.

By ensuring transparency and user empowerment, Spectral is shaping a future where everyone can participate in the blockchain revolution.

  1. It’s my belief that mesothelioma will be the most deadly cancer. It has unusual traits. The more I really look at it the more I am confident it does not react like a real solid human cancer. When mesothelioma can be a rogue viral infection, so there is the probability of developing a vaccine plus offering vaccination for asbestos open people who are at high risk regarding developing long run asbestos connected malignancies. Thanks for expressing your ideas on this important health issue.

  2. I found your weblog website on google and check a number of of your early posts. Continue to keep up the very good operate. I simply additional up your RSS feed to my MSN News Reader. Searching for ahead to reading more from you later on!?

  3. Good blog! I really love how it is easy on my eyes and the data are well written. I’m wondering how I could be notified when a new post has been made. I’ve subscribed to your feed which must do the trick! Have a nice day!
